WOLFF , Augustus Ludwig: Brunswick (WB), Commissioner of the Treasurer General, General Staff on 20 July 1781 (MR), Regiment Riedesel, 24 years 11 months, native of Ottelmanshausen (Braunschweig). demobilized in Canada on July 31, 1783 (Rimpau). City "soldier of the regiment of green clothes" (next 9 April 1781, J.-B. Badeau). Petitionary 1800 (V). Godfather of a child on September 2, 1778 at the Protestant church of Trois-Rivières. Married around 1781 (in front of a chaplain of his regiment?) In Trois-Rivières with Marie-Louise Buisson (Jean-Baptiste and Louise Panneton), buried on May 19, 1846 in Maskinongé (86 years old); 14 children, married in Maskinongé, Berthier and Nicolet. Request for land in Montreal on June 25, 1796 (ANC, RG 1 L 3 L C-2569, vol 206). Painter and gilder, then steward of the Royal Institution, buried on May 18, 1840 in Maskinongé (86 years).
