Ferdinand was born 1702 in Gennweiler, Illingen, Saarland, Germany, the 7th child and 5th son of the 12 children of Johannes Woll and Maria Oppermann.
He worked as a stone mason. and moved to Kirrweiler where he married Anna Apollonia Schmidt 1729 in Kirrweiler (Pfalz), Germany. They had 5 children:

4. Johannes Jakob Woll, b. 1738 Kirrweiler – d.1738 Kirrweiler
5. Johanna Margaretha Woll, b. 1739 Kirrweiler – d. 1810 Königsbach-Neustadt
In Kirrweiler Ferdinand became an alderman (Scabini - Schöffe in German). He died 1739 in Kirrweiler from a heart attack at the age of 36.
