OBITUARY Poole Funeral Home DANIELS, SARAH ELIZABETH, b. 4-17-1849, Washington Parish, d. 4-28-1939, Daniels Cemetery, wd/o A. W. DANIEL, d/o JACOB P. WOOD, b. GA & GENAVIVE MORRIS, b. Washington Parish -- Era Leader 5-4-1939 Mrs. Lizzie Daniel of Franklinton, died April 28th, at age 90 years, 1 month, and 11 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wood, and was married in early life to A.W. Daniel, a Confederate War Veteran, who preceded her to the grave by 23 years. Survivors are her 9 children, Jim Daniel, and Tera Daniel in the home, Mrs. Viola Simmons, Mrs. Henry Daniel, Tebo Daniel, John Daniel, all of Franklinton, W.J. Daniel of Angie, Mrs. John Burns and Cecil Daniel of Bogalusa; 17 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 1 brother, J.P. Wood of Franklinton. Interment was in the family cemetery.

Sarah was born in 1849. She was the daughter of Jacob Wood and Jemima Morris. [1]
