Charlotte has childhood census with parents & siblings in 1850

Charlotte's adult identity is assumed, based on Charlotte's name/age/location

Her maiden name is WOOD is on several of her children's death certificates

Charlotte's locations of Cambpell & Cobb Co. is consistent with her parents

MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME:

The name Nancy Bullard is on many family trees as wife of Thomas Wood.

However, I cannot find any evidence of Nancy's maiden name.

It may just be a wild guess that has been duplicated across many family trees.

Please note that there were many Nancy's born in South Carolina.

Please note that the name "Thomas Wood" is a very common name.

Does anyone have a documented source for her Nancy's maiden name?

Does anyone have a theory as to why Nancy's maiden name might be Bullard?
