Biography

Lewis John Wood was born in 1849 to Stephen H. Wood and Rachel (Thomas) Wood. He is listed with his parents on the 1850 Census in Patrick, Virginia.[1] On November 4, 1869 he married Exoney "Honey" Hall.[2] They are the parents of at least seven children. He passed away in 1936 and is buried in the Lewis J. Wood Cemetery in Patrick County, Virginia. [3]
