Elizabeth Woodward, believed to be the sister of Richard and Robert Woodward, emigrants from England.[1]
June 6, 1688, at a court held in Chester, mention is made of a marriage between Thomas Eavenson and Elizabeth Woodward, which was to be accomplished on or before the 6th day of the next month, and Richard Woodward became bound with Thomas Eavenson for the performance of the contract in the sum of 40 pounds. name = "Pg 14"
March 6, 1687, Thomas Eavenson purchased 120 acres in Thornbury township from John Simcock, next to Richard Woodward's land; and on November 16, 1702, he purchased 317 acres of land in Thornbury township, from Thomas Bradford, of Philadelphia, carpenter.name = "Pg 14"
Elizabeth Eavenson, was living in 1717, but Thomas in his will, mentions wife Margaret; he died in Thornbury in November of 1726, leaving five children, all by his first wife. name = "Pg 14"
