Biography

Benjamin was born in 1768. He is the son of Richard Woodward and Susanna Blake. He was baptised 1 September 1769 at St Nicholas, Bristol, England. ^[1]

He was a Major in the Cavan regiment of Militia.

In 1823 he was joint inspector general of Irish prisons.

He died in 1841
