Biography

James was born in 1873 in Mullaghboy, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the son of James Wright, a labourer, and Matilda Flack.[1]

He married Margaret McNeilly in 1900 in 2nd Islandmagee Presbyterian Church. He was a car driver from Islandmagee and she was also from Islandmagee. The witnesses were Andrew Wright and Mary McNeilly.[2]

In 1901 he was a general labourer living with his wife in Mullaghboy.[3]

In 1911 he was a car driver at a posting establishment living with his wife and their 5 children in Mullaghboy. They had a boarder William A Kerr.[4]

James passed away on July 21st, 1945 (age 72).[5] He is interred in Islandmagee New Cemetery (Plot# B122-B123).[6]
