Joseph died on March 27, 1760 in Fauquier County, Colony of Virginia, aged 79.
Research Notes
An "Agreement of Property" was entered into by Joseph and his second wife, Zerviah Unknown Burden on 30 Aug 1748 in Prince William County, Virginia. The document indicates that Zerviah was the widow of Benjamin Burden before she married Joseph. The witnesses signing the document included Alexander Campbell, John Wright, and Sarah O. Wright.[1] It isn't yet clear whether this is the same Joseph Wright that's represented by this profile.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:
I'm disconnecting this profile from Ann Walker Asbury (Walker-4132) as spouse. There are several sources describing Ann Walker's marriage first to John Wright (Wright-4586) and subsequently to Thomas Asbury (Asbury-136) following John Wright's death (see, for instance, The Virginia Genealogical Society Quarterly Vol. V No. 3 Jul 1967; Vol. V No. 4 Oct 1967; Vol. VI No. 1 Jan 1968), but there is no evidentiary indication that she married a third time to this Joseph Wright, who presumably died five years after her but for whom there is no mention in her will dated 10 Nov 1755 and probated 25 Nov 1755.
