Geertje aka Margaret Wyckoff, was born in 1693 in Flatlands (now part of Brooklyn), New York, the daughter of Jan Pieterse Wyckoff and Neeltje Willemse Kouwenhoven. She died on 21 Dec 1765, at the age of 72. She is buried in the Old Scots Cemetery in Wickatunk, Monmouth County, New Jersey, next to her husband's grave.

Her family moved to Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey about 1707, and she apparently lived there the rest of her life. She married Jonathan Forman about 1712. They had eight children together. Baptism records have been found for six of them, six were named in Jonathan's will
[2]
(five were living when the will was written and one had died the year before), plus a granddaughter whose mother had died was named in the will (although the mother wasn't named), and two had gravestones that named their parents.

Research Notes
Research needs to be done to determine Margaret's correct LNAB. If she was in fact Dutch, the Dutch Reformed Church may have recorded her name more accurately than whatever record produced the Anglicized "Wyckoff." There was more than one family in the Dutch Reformed Church of New Utrecht, Kings County, New York in the early 1700s which spelled their name "Wykof;" Hendk Wykof and Antie Wykof had a daughter named "Geertje," christened 18 Oct 1730 at the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church in New Utrecht.[12]
