Sloman witnesses the will of William Parham in Sussex County dated 15 December 1756. He & Nicholas Massenburg witnessed the will of Holum Sturdivant (the elder) in Sussex County dated 25 Sept 1757. Sloman, along with Matthew & Stith Parham (sons of Wm. dec'd), took inventory of the estate of Thomas Bobbit on 9 Feb 1759. Sloman's own estate inventory was dated 6 Jan 1762 and recorded in Sussex County 18 Feb 1762, signed by his executor son Robert Wynne. There was no appraisal.[2]

In the name of God Amen I Sloman Wynne of Sussex County being sick and weak but of sound disposing mind and memory do constitute & Ordain and appoint this to be my lone last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills by me heretofore. Imprimis I give to my loving son Mathew one Negro girl named Patt to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to my loving son Sloman twenty shillings. Item I give to my loving Daughter Lucretia Wynne the child that my Negro Woman Tabb now goes with to her & to her heirs forever. Item I give to my Loving Daughter Anne Sturdivant twenty shillings. Item I give to my loving son Robert and to his Heirs forever one Negro boy named Peter & also a tract of land being part of that on which I now live and the Land conveyed to me by Holum Sturdivant & which is divided from the other part of land by a line beginning at the Islands & running to William Dancey's line the said land lying on the south side of the said line & containing by estimation one hundred & seventy four acres. Item I give to my loving Son William Wynne and to his Heirs forever one Negro Boy named Ben. Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Wynne one Bed & furniture one small Pott one Pewter Dish one Bason and four plates. I also lend to my said daughter /after the decease of my beloved wife/ for and during the Term of her life one Negro girl named Hannah and her the decease of my said wife and Daughter I give and devise the said negro with her increase to my Grandson Robert Wynne son of my said Daughter Elizabeth to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to my Grand daughter Elizabeth daughter of my son Mathew one young cow or Heifer. Item I lend to my beloved wife during her natural life or Widowhood the use and labour of the following slaves to wit Diggs Tabb, Jr Hannah. I also lend to my said wife during her Natural Life and Widowhood as aforesaid all my Lands Goods & Chattles not already devised and after her death or Marriage I give & devise to my loving son Stith and to his heirs forever all my said Land Goods & Chattles lent to my said wife with the two Negro Slaves not before disposed of named Diggs & Tab Lastly I do hereby constitute ordain & appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth my loving son Robert & Nicholas Massenburg my true & lawful Executors of this my last Will and I direct that my Estate may not be appraised. Ann, "who is mentioned as daughter Ann Sturdivant in the 1760 Sussex will of her father Sloman Wynne."[4]
Sloman's daughter Ann (Wynne) Sturdivant & her husband Charles ("the third son of Henry Sturdivant") had six children. Their first-born son Charles Williams Sturdivant (b 1761) married Sally Wynne.[4]
Elizabeth Wynne, daughter mentioned in Sloman's will, had a son Robert Wynne born out of wedlock 16 July 1759 (Albemarle Parish Register [1]). She married after her father's death to Samuel Rottenberry. She died in 1802. Sloman's grandson Robert Wynne died on the battlefield at Brandywine 11 September 1776 per the petition of his cousin William Wynne of Wake Co., NC. (eldest heir of son Matthew by 1811) which file includes the will of Sloman Wynn dated 30 June 1760, proved 17 Dec 1761 at Sussex County Court.
