Biography

Polly (Yarnell) McClain lived in Appalachia, in Tennessee.

Polly was the daughter of Mordecai Yarnell and Jane Duncan. She was born Sept. 25, 1793.

Find A Grave states that Polly was a twin of Malinda Ann; however Malinda's headstone shows she was born Sept. 25, 1800.

Polly married James David McClain on Feb. 3, 1818. Her sister Malinda Ann married James' brother Daniel Charles.

Polly died on Jan. 15, 1874 and is buried in Glenwood cemetery. ^[1]
