Adolph was born in 1917. He passed away in 2001.[1]
His life is recorded in his mother's diary.

Adolph went to the Army . . . went to Japan Dec. 16, and got there Dec. 27, 1949[2]
Adolph began serving in the US military on June 1, 1940 and served through World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was discharged on July 31, 1971.[3][4]
It seems his service began in the US Army and in 1946 he enlisted into the Army Air Corp volunteering for assignment to Hawaii.[5] And his military service then continued with the Air Force when it was created in 1947.
