Biography
Dalton Wells Young, 85, Gravel Switch, passed away at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
Born Nov. 22, 1925 in Marion County, Young was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church, a United States Army Veteran of World War II and a retired farmer. He was a member of the T.W. Wash Masonic Lodge #430 of Gravel Switch, Edmonds Chapter #83, Marion Commandry #24, Lebanon Council #56 and Powell Chapter #255 and Order of the Eastern Star, all of Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, James Boyle and Margaret Ann Coyle Young; two sons and their wives, James Boyle Young and wife, Susan, and William Hugh Young and wife, Patty; and a brother, Ralph Young.
Survivors include: his wife, Louise Lanham Young; a son, Danny Young and wife, Vickie, of Campbellsville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.[1]
