West Ville is the parish, in the Mid Division of the county, parts of Lindsey, West Bolingbroke soke, Boston union and county court district, distant 7 miles north-west from Boston, and one mile west from Frithville church, which is usually attended by the inhabitants. The soil is heavy stiff clay; subsoil, same. The chief crops are wheat, oats, and beans. The area is 2260 acres, and the population in 1861 was 150.
61 people in 1851 and 32 in 1861 Census claim to be born in West Ville.
West Ville was first drained in 1812 so Youngs were very early residents.
