Baron Blanesburgh, Robert Younger was born in 1856. He was the fifth son of James Younger and Janet McEwan. [1]
Robert Younger as a Privy Counsellor on 25 November 1919, he was Lord Justice of Appeal from 1919 to 1923. On 12 October 1923, he was appointed Lord of Appeal in Ordinary and was created a life peer with the title Baron Blanesburgh, of Alloa in the County of Clackmannanshire[2]
