Biography
Stella Mable Zimmerle was born on the 20th December 1911, in Queensland, Australia, the daughter of John Henry Zimmerle and Annie Theresa Nothdurft.[1]
Stella married Charles Henry Curd on the 11th January 1939, in St Paul's
Presbyterian Church, Mackay.[2] In what was classified "a quiet ceremony", Stella's sister, Nesta was bridesmaid, Jack Moris was best man, Mr Ray Gilmour stood in lieu of the bride's father, and the Rev R Bardon, BA officiated. The reception which followed the ceremony was held in the home of the bride's mother: Mrs Patch.[3]
Stella Mable Curd née Zimmerle passed away on the 30th October 1987, in Queensland, Australia, six weeks before her 76th birthday.[4]
