Biography
Michael was born in 1832. He was the son of David Zug and Elizabeth Moyer.
In 1861 he married Mary Frantz. They had six children:[1]
- Ella J (b-1862) married Erb
- Myram (b-1864, d-1864)
- Martha (b-1865) married Eckert
- Aaron (b-1867, d-1869)
- Mary (b-1870) married Francis
- James (b-1872)
Michael was the original compiler of the work that became the Genealogical records of the Royer family in America (Lebanon, PA, 1928) and is often referred to as the author within the work itself.
He passed away in 1910.
