Pieter Leenhouts
My mother Loda Zwart remembers Pieter Zwart. He was a very capable and intelligent man. During WW 2 he became active in the underground. He was helpful with getting records changed to protect person's lives. The rumor is that there were two Dutch underground factions who began to quarrel near the end of the war and that he was shot and killed by friendly fire. My mother recalls that his father Dirk mourned Pieter's loss immensely and for many years.
