Why doesn’t it show me related to anyone ? Did I load my DNA correctly?

You are now connected to the main tree via the Moorman line.

You and I are 11th cousins.

William the Immigrant Hancock (Hancock-2345) was your 9th GGF.

Your 10th GGF was Huguenot refugee, Laurent Flournoy (Flournoy-44).

But that connection will still take 24 hours to be updated so the DNA should be propagated through your tree over night for tomorrow.

It takes at least 24 hours for the database indexes to be updated.

Also it will only show relationships to family members you have added or are connected to. You only have a few people in your tree so far, so you will want to continue to add family members.

When I see who I am related to with old ancestors. I am not related to anyone. I uploaded my info a couple of years ago from 23&me???

Shouldn’t it show if I am related to any of the famous people you put up?  I have tried and tried but I come up with nothing. So frustrated.
You have to actually be connected through your ancestors and relationships.

Right now the few connections you have, aren't connected to anyone else in the tree.

Think of it like a big jigsaw puzzle. Your current branch of the tree is like a few puzzle pieces connected to each other, but no one else.

Continue to add more ancestors until you can find a connection to one or more profiles that are already in the tree.

edit: WikiTree doesn't show connections based on DNA. But instead, it shows possible DNA matches, based on existing connections.
Thank you so much for your reply

As you added your DNA test information in 2017, it is showing on relatives you are connected to.

Raw DNA cannot be loaded to Wikitree so it does not provide DNA matching. You will need to use Gedmatch for this.

I used a number similar to mine which is Lozano-337. In doing so, I typed an incorrect number. It popped with a list of of people for that number I incorrectly used. Does that make sense to you ?
It depends on how many ancestors of yours are added to wikitree.  It you only have 6 ancestors loaded, you have less of a chance of connecting if there are not others in the same area that have done the DNA testing.

I have quite a few generations added and I have hardly any DNA connections.  I have some DNA connections at my 8th or 9th set of great grandparents.  You only have 3 generations loaded, I think.  I have other lines that have 15 generations of great grandparents and I have no DNA connections

If your 'cousins' have not uploaded their own information or the grandparents that you are connected to, you will have no connections. Everyone is not on wikitree, so it depends on that, as well.

Linda makes some good points.  I didn't find any WikiTree connections until I had added at least great grandparents, and I probably had to go back even further.  It looks like you're on 23&Me and GEDmatch.  If you can identify any of your matches on either of those sites, figuring out your common ancestors, then you can add to your ancestors on WikiTree until you get back to a shared ancestor.

You just need to connect your tree to existing profiles on wikitree.  I added Robert J. Moorman as Laura Angle's husband but I cannot add him as the father of Nora Moorman because her profile is private. You can add him and then you will be connected to a huge chunk of wikitree.

Your tree is not connected to the main global tree so that the wikitree database is unable to make any connections with regards to possibly DNA relatives.

You could start looking for siblings and cousins in your parents and grandparents generations (this is what we call going sideways) in order to make those connections if you are unable to go back any further.

And now that you are connected to the global tree through your Mother's side, add in a few of your Father's ancestors if you can, and don't forget to connect him to your mother if they were married.  So far, we share over 350 ancestors through 30 generations on WikiTree, and that's just on your Mother's side. We're 11th cousins at this point... 10th cousin to Dororthy.  Just remember, the relationships you see in the relationship finder are based on what people have put into WikiTree, some of which may or may not be backed up with a good paper trail.

Almost forgot.... is this famous enough...

Edward I is the 23rd great grandfather of Julie
