OBITUARY LATE T. H. BLECHYNDEN. ^[1]
Another of Wagin's early pioneers passed away in the Wagin Hospital on Monday September 11th, in the person of Mr. Thomas Harrison Blechynden.
The deceased gentleman had been ill for a short period prior to his death, and at the time of his demise was 84 year's of age. He was born in Beverley in 1849, but spent the last 40 years of his life in the Wagin District. The funeral took place from the Church of England on Wednesday September 13th. the Rev. Archdeacon W. Burbidge officiating at the Church and at the graveside.
The Pall Bearers were Messrs. E. Quartermaine (Senr.), H. Gladstones (Senr.), T. Ashworth. E. McGlimn, E. Quartermaine (Junr.), and J. Watson.
