OBITUARY. Another old resident died in the Beverley Hospital on December 1 in the person of Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Edwards, relict, of the late Thomas Edwards. Mrs. Edwards's father, the late Harrison Blechynden, came to the State from Kent, in 1830, and she was born at St. Aubyn's, Beverley, on March 19, 1842. The funeral took place on December 3. After a service in the Parish Church, the cortege proceeded to the old St. Paul's Churchyard, at Edwards's Crossing, which is portion of the old "Mt. Pleasant" homestead, to which Mrs. Edwards went as a bride 65 years ago. Deceased left a family of five sons (Samuel, Lou, Arthur Walter and Peter), all of whom are settled in Beverley and adjoining districts.
