Andrew was born on the 25th of September in 1879 or 1880; 1879 is listed on his Find-a-Grave Memorial but 1880 is listed on his draft registration.[1] He was the son of William DeVaughn and Mary Hutto. He was the husband of Georgia Virginia McKee (marriage record needed); she often went by Virgie and it is believed that they were married on November 25, 1900 in Chilton County, Alabama.
