Biography

Ann was born in 1867, the daughter of John W. Hodgins and Mary Jane Richardson.

She married Thomas Crozier in 1886. Their marriage record reads:

Thomas Crozier, 22, residing and born in Ross Township, bachelor, farmer, son of Christopher and Eliza Crozier, married

Annie Hodgins, 19, residing and born in Bromley, spinster, daughter of John and Mary Jane Hodgins,

Witnesses: Richard Crozier, Ross, and Sarah Jane Hodgins, Bromley,

On March 9th, 1886, in Bromley.

Together they had the following children:

1. Christopher, born about 1887, married Amelia Foss^[1]; he died in 1956
2. Florence Ann, born about 1889
3. Blanche

Annie died on January 20, 1933 at Pullie Hospital, in Smiths Falls. Her death record states she was born on June 28 (no year written), the daughter of John Hodgins, born in Ontario, and A. Richeson, born in Ireland. She was 66 years old. The informant on the record was her son, Harvey Crozier, of Smiths Falls. Her cause of death was pneumonia, pericarditis & myocarditis, 2 months, 15 days, and anasarca general, 7 days.

She was buried at Hillcrest Cemetery, in Smiths Falls, Ontario.
