Hello, Eric,

It has been a few weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Black Sheep Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hello Eric,

On behalf of the Project Black Sheep Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let me know, by commenting on my profile or sending a private message, if you are still active in the project, and if so, how you have contributed to the main project or a sub-project within the last two months.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Eric , You tagged your Irish Roots, I wanted to let you know we have a lively project that focuses on Irish family here called the Irish Roots Project It would be a great place for you to get involved now you have settled into WikiTree.

The project pages contain lots of advice, links videos etc for researching Irish ancestors.

Good luck with your research.

Hi Eric,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. I see you are interested in Ireland and Sweden. Why don't you stop by the Irish Roots project, (currently led/coordinated by Leigh M.), and/or theSweden project (currently led/coordinated by Lena S.), to see how you can participate? I'll let the leaders know you are newly certified! Let me know if you need help with anything. We are glad to have you on board!

Hi Eric,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Have fun and make sure to join in the Question of the Week What's your favorite family heirloom? to share your stories!

If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly group of volunteers who are glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.

Hi Eric --

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? This is what makes WikiTree different than most other genealogy sites: Our goal is to have one profile per person.

Once you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to fill in your tags to tell us about your genealogical interests.

The Tags are a way for you to connect with other genealogists on Wikitree and follow activity in the topics that interest you. You can learn more on our Tags help page.

Once you click "Save Tag(s) and Volunteer," one of our Greeters will come along to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
