Biography

James Oliver Longstreet was born 24 May 1806, probably in Syracuse, New York. He was a son of Cornelius Longstreet (1777-1814) and Deborah Wemple (Tyler; abt.1787-abt.1826), probably their first child.

He married 31 Dec 1829, Laura Breed. They had 6 children ^[1]:
