Biography
James Oliver Longstreet, b. 16 Nov 1833 at Onondaga Hill, New York, was the second child of Laura (Breed) Longstreet (1806-1876) & James Oliver Longstreet (1806-1873) [1].
He married 07 Jul 1859 Josephine Christopher [1839 - 1937; daughter of Elizabeth (Drew) & William H. Christopher]. They had one child:
- Josephine Longstreet, b. 1861; d. 1946
James Oliver Longstreet died 3 Jul 1861 at Onondaga Hill. His grave is in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, USA [2].
Note: His widow may have re-married, possibly to Elias Raymond Pennoyer (1830 - 1907), thence died in 1937 in New Jersey. A grave memorial in Rosedale Cemetery, Montclair, Essex County, New Jersey, USA, may pertain to her [[1]].
