Biography

Ellen Elizabeth Longstreet, born 10 Sep 1838, was the fourth child of Laura (Breed) Longstreet (1806-1876) & James Oliver Longstreet (1806-1873) ^[1]. Her nickname may have been Nell, or Nellie.

She married 21 Apr 1857 David Morgan Fulmer (4 Feb 1831 - 18 Sep 1900). They had 5 children:

1. Charles Ellis Fulmer (1861-1948)
2. Henry Elton Fulmer (1864-1916)
3. Clark Adelburt Fulmer (1867-)
4. Minnie F (Fulmer) Wight (1869-1955)
5. Nellie E. Fulmer (1873-)

This was an agriculturally focused family, enumerated in the 1860s in Onondaga Township, Onondaga County, New York ^[2],^[3]. They relocated to Marcellus by 1870 ^[4],^[5]. From 1880 forward they were counted in Gibbon, Buffalo County, Nebraska ^[6],^[7],^[8],^[9],^[10].
