I don't know much about my family tree yet.
I am the daughter of the late Leonard King Owens and Alfreda Frances Grabowski Owens who were married in Washington DC around or about late 1956-early 1957 by civil ceremony (unsure). I never saw, spoke to or knew my father. My mother returned to Schenectady NY to be with her family when I was born. Leonard went with her. He returned to DC; it's unknown if they ever saw each other again. He served in the army in WWII; I'm looking for anyone in my father's family who possibly have pictures and information about Leonard, who worked for the government, but in what capacity I am unsure. My mother mentioned the Pentagon. He was interested in magicians &photography.

I was born in Schenectady, New York in Ellis Hospital. I am the daughter of Alfreda Frances Loretta Grabowski and Leonard King Owens. I have a brother and sister still living. They are my half siblings, with a shared mother. I lived first on Hillside Avenue in Schenectady, New York, town of Niskayuna. I have three daughters.
