Daniel L. Skinner (1815-1877) is my great great grandfather and my brick wall. I own the family bible begun by Dan and his wife, Margaret. The signature pages are in Memories in FamilySearch. Dan seems to have insisted that he was born in Morris, New Jersey and we know that he plopped down in Ohio in time to marry Margaret in 1840. How /why did he go from NJ to Ohio and who are his forbears?? Very mysterious. Please help if you can.

Thanks! Sheri Skinner

Hi, Chandra;

Nope. I completely agree with all its points. It's the way all such websites should operate. Have I "signed" it? If not, please let me know how to do that. Thanks! Sheri

Hi, Chandra;

Have I entered what I should have to ask your group in general if they can help with ol' Dan and his mysterious history? I'm not the most practiced online person. I don't even do Social Media. Thanks for the welcome and the help. Best, Sheri
