Biography

He was the son of Sir John Wrottesley, 4th Bt. and Frances Grey.^[1][1]Richard was born at Wrottesley Hall, Tettenhall, Staffordshire on 7th April 1721, and baptised on the 19th of June 1721 at Codsall, Staffordshire, England.^[2]He married Mary Leveson-Gower, daughter of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower and the Lady Evelyn Pierrepont, on the 6th of Oct 1739 at Trentham, Staffordshire, England.^[3]He died on the 20th of July 1769.^[4][5]in the Wrottesley family Vault at St Michael and All Angels Church, Tettenhall, Staffordshire.
