Henry Cooke's mother

How can Anne Caunton be Henry Cooke's mother ? According to the family tree she was only born one year before him !  Furthermore, his father would have been twelve year's old at the time of Henry's birth.

There seems little evidence elsewhere on the web to support the view that Richard Cooke even had a son called Henry.  I wish it were so, as I am a 12th great grandson of Henry (in the UK), & would love to know his true parentage....

Thoughts...?

I agree!  Juat took a look at Henry Cooke's profile and noticed he had a sister named Anne with no known husband ! Looks as though there is a mix up of information !

Thank you Wayne for the explaination. I had not looked at it that way, only that there was a date that did not fit.
Hi Wayne,

I think that is exactly what they were supposed to do... write to you and say they did not agree.  It's the first step of collaboration; communicating.  Thank you for sharing your information and explanation.

Have a nice day :)

If you look at Richard Cooke's bio in the http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1558-1603/member/cooke-richard-i-1530-79  Richard is married to Anne Caunton.  I do not have access to ancestry.com information so I can not say what information it has to the parents of Henry. The above History of Parliament only states that his first son was Anthony were Wikipedia states Richard had only one son and uses the same source.
