How do I get a profile onto MY OWN WATCHLIST when the profile is open and there's no option to be on a trusted list?

I have just spent close to an hour trying to add a profile name to my watch list and still haven't found  a simple step 1, step 2, step 3 answer at G2G. It is an open profile and there is no "request to be added to the trusted list" option.  I get that ... but in this circumstance (since I don't have to be on a trusted list because it is an open profile), where is the "button" or link to add profile to my watch list OR if there is no efficient link, what are the exact steps I need to do to get the name on my list?  The only answer I understood was that I have to be on the trusted list ... and that is only doable by the manager.  This is taking way too long. There should be a simple answer instead of pages upon pages of questions and answers that never lead to a "how to" result.  Thanks for any help.

One of the PMs is currently active.  It shouldn't take long to be added to the trusted list.

Use Wikitree BEE.  It allows you to add a supplemental watchlist.  I use mine for ancestors that I don't manage.

On the profile select Privacy tab, scroll down to join this list.

On the Family Tree and Tools section of her profile, scroll down to the tools section. At the bottom of that section, you will see "Trusted List Request". Fill that out. And hopefully, one of the two managers will grant your request.

The request link is on the right hand side, scroll down to the 'Collaboration' section, and it's the first item in the list.
