Did you win a 2023 Source-a-Thon prize?

Thanks to the wonderful generosity from many WikiTreers as well as others around the genealogy community,  we have great prizes that are being given away to participants in the Source-a-Thon.

Race bib numbers will be drawn at random every four hours in our Live Hangouts. We will post the winning numbers right here, in this G2G message. If your number is drawn, you have until the next Live chat to reply here to claim your prize.

We will also be doing prize drawings similar to how we did in the WikiGames, where people in the chat can type in a word to be entered in the drawing and then a winner is randomly selected. You do have to present in the live chats to win these. Those winners also have until the next Live chat to reply here to claim your prize.

Since most members won't be participating for all 72 hours we expect that many prizes will go unclaimed. But don't worry, all the prizes will be given away and everyone will have plenty of chances to win. If you don't claim your prize your number goes back in the hat. Once you claim a prize, it comes out.

Winners get to pick their prizes from the list below (we will post it here after each hangout). Please state which one you would like when you answer to claim your prize!

Big thanks to everyone who donated prizes this year!

Good luck!

I'll be in touch with each of you about your winnings!

P.S. Please don't answer here unless you are claiming a prize. Any other answers/comments will be hidden after they are read. Thanks!

Yes, I won a price but how disappointing it was when I got information that I must collect it from the Local Post office. On arrival I was informed I had to pay R422.00 local currency (20.86 Euro) ($22.50) for a cup a sticker and a small flag Total worth about R100.00 local currency.

Please in future inform participants in other countries that this is for the receiver's pocket. As I am a pensioner that is about a third tank of diesel for my vehicle that i could have used much better than so something that is going to gather dust anyway.
