No one has started the Allen line I would like to pedigree it with sources but don't know how here.

My name is Star Kathleen Cook.

My family names on the Paternal Cook line are by generation: Cook, Munsen (on), Draper, Andersen (on), Herd (Hurd), Newton, Mogensen, Jensen, Nielsen, Ketcher, Cant (Cand), Lathrop, Whiteley, Johansen, Pedersen (on), Christiansen (on), Larsen (on), Palmer, Runter, Root, Rogers, Pike, Smith, and Sykes Wakefield,

My family names on the Maternal Kellogg line are by generation: Kellogg, Hickman, Cobb, Allen, May, Adams, Fry, Stewart, Vose, Adams, Powell, Harmon, House, Isbell, Crump, Christerson, Fulton,

I am working on my 7th generation as have wholes there but go back to 14th & 15th generation on some lines and further on others however I refer the royal line to Family search as they are a mess as far as I am concernerd and don't want them in my records although I have them in a separate file.

I have never met a Draper I wasn't related to since my 3rd great grandfather William H. Draper Jr had 7 wives and 54 children. His sixth wife Fanny Newton was my 3rd great grandmother. His 7th wife Ruth Hannah Newton was sister to Fanny.

At this time I need lots of help as I am a newby and don't know my way around yet.

There has been an Allen one-name study going on in wikitree.com for some time.  I don't know the details, but I'm sure someone should be able to help you out.

As you settle in here at WikiTree, I suggest that you start adding people in your recent generations (parents, grandparents, etc.) so that you can build your basic family history back to the point where it starts intersecting with profiles that have already been created here by other members. That will help other relatives find you and it will help other members see whether the family names we share with you might indicate shared ancestry.
