cant save gedcom file from microsoft edge. What do I do. only get save target, not save as

If the GEDCOM is showing as text on the screen, you have a few options:

1. Copy the contents of the page and paste it into a plain text file (using wordpad or other text editor and save). Once you save the file, it will have a filetype of .txt, which you can change to .ged.
2. If you have a link to the GEDCOM, right-click on the link itself and choose Save As..., instead of opening the link.

"save target" is basically the same as "save as"
