Armand Toulouse is my father. He was born in Lac Megantic, PQ, Canada in 1918 His 4th and my 5th great grandfather, Pierre Creysac dit Toulouse was born in Gemil, France, later resided in Toulouse, France and sailed to New France in 1750 from Bayone, France as a member of Les Troupes de la Marine. Pierre marrried and never returned to his homeland. However, 194 years after Pierre left, his descendant, my father, returned to Normandy, (via Omaha Beach) in June of 1944.
