Sarah was born in Maryland[1][2][3] in 1806[4] (or 1807[3][1], or 1808[2]). She migrated to Nelson Co., Kentucky with the rest of her family around 1820. By 1832, she had moved on the Perry Co., Indiana with her mother and three siblings.
Sarah and Walter resided in Perry Co. for the rest of their lives and are buried in Old St. John's Cemetery.
