Biography
Cornelia was born in 1859. Cornelia Baer was the daughter of Jospeh Baer and his wife Mary Acker. The surname was often spelled Bare or Bear. Cornelia was born during a brief period of time her family spent in Jefferson County, Tennessee. [1] The family returned to Rockingham County, Virginia where Cornelia married Joseph Edwin Armentrout in 1879. [2] [3] Cornelia died in1934 in Roanoke, Virginia and is buried there. [4]
