Keats-Rohan:

Willelm Bertram
Norman, held Polhampton in chief in Domesday Hampshire; occurs c.1110 in the Winchester Survey. His family were lords of Bricquebec, Calvados, descendants of Turstin de Bastembourg and collaterals of Hugh de Montfort [who also appears in Domesday Book]. William was possibly a younger son of Robert Bertram and Susanna (cf. Faroux, 205). Cf. G. Saige, Cartulaire de l'abbaye de Fountenay le Marmion, Monaco 1885. He witnessed charters between 1079 and 1089 (RRAN i, 168, 310). William Bertram (d.c.1150), lord of Mitford in the time of Henry I, was perhaps his descendants.
