Jeanne Guérineau (1510 - 1572)

Mariage:

  1. Guillaume suifier ; épouse Marguerite de La Boissière
  2. Hugues suifier ; épouse Barbe Millardot
  3. Jacqueline a épousé en troisième lieu Nicolas Hébert
  4. Jeanne a épousé Mathieu Bedeau
  5. Isaac né vers 1546, faiseur de suif ; épouse Catherine Gaude

Biography

Jeanne was probably married to Simon Pajot in the 1530’s at Paris. From their marriage six children appear in the records:

  1. Guillaume tallow maker; married Marguerite de LaBoissière
  2. Hugues tallow maker; married Barbe Millardot
  3. Jacqueline married thirdly Nicolas Hébert
  4. Jeanne married Mathieu Bedeau
  5. Isaac born about 1546, tallow maker; married Catherine Gaude
  6. Jean born about 1550, wood merchant married Catherine Sambiges

Her husband Simon died in November 1563 and Jeanne survived him by about 9 years. From 1568 until her death she was living with the family of her son Hugues. She died in October 1572 between the third day of the month when she dictated her last will and testament naming as executor her son-in-law Nicolas Hébert; and the sixteenth when Nicolas had an inventory of her goods compiled, a detailed list of which survives in poor condition. Jeanne had expressed her wish to be buried in the church of Saint Gervais near her deceased husband. Following her death the children disputed the inheritance, but in the end settled matters among themselves.[1]

Guerineau-12 and Guérineau-4 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same husband (although name is spelled differently). Duplicate mother of Jacqueline Pajot.
Jeanne Guerineau's parents should probably be unknown. Sources giving information on Jacqueline Pajot's parents and siblings never mention her grandparents.
