Desire Hough (4 Jan 1764 Bozrah, New London, Connecticut^[1] - 12 Mar 1816 Bozrah, Connecticut ) was the daughter of David Hough and Desire Clark.

On 15 Nov 1787 in Norwich-Bozrah, Connecticut she married married Capt Uriah DOWNER^[2][3] (11 Nov 1762 Bozrah, New London, Connecticut - 17 Nov 1825 Bozrah) son of Richard Downer and Margaret Caruthers.
