Daughter of Edward and Anne Augusta (Kinney) Phalon
Minnie was born to Anna Augusta Kinney when Anna was just 15 years old. When Anna was 17 years old she married Minnie's father, Edward Phalon, and they moved to Chicago Illinois. Minnie lived with her grandparents Robert and Clarissa Kinney for a few years, but was never adopted by them. In the 1901 Canada Census Minnie is 20 years old and living with Robert and Clarissa, listed as a daughter but legally she was the daughter of Edward and Anna Augusta Kinney Phalon.
Married Nathaniel Woodward September 16, 1901 in Bath, Carleton New Brunswick Canada. Minnie lists her parents names as Edward and Anna Augusta Kinney Phalon on her marriage license.
