Biography

Alastair Walker was born Ontario 1906. [1]

He was the eldest son of Ewart Walker & Grace Mills. [2]

He attended Appleby College of liberal arts[3] in Oakville, Ontario, which was founded by his grandfather, Sir Edmund Walker.

He was a Lieutenant Colonel. [4]

He returned to Appleby to teach English between 1932 and 1941. [3]

He married Elizabeth Tidy[4] in 1937[citation needed]. They had two children[4].

Alastair died 19 November 1992. [citation needed]

    Professor Alastair Walker, the donor of these papers, is a great grandson of William Mills and a grandson of Samuel Dillon-Mills. Dillon-Mills' daughter, Grace Edith Dillon Mills, married Ewart Buchan Walker, Alastair Walker was their oldest son.
