Biography

Elizabeth Martha Yates was born on 29th October 1870.^[1] She was the daughter of George Charles William Yates and Elizabeth (Skinner) Yates. She was baptised at St Barnabas, Pimlico, London on 9th March 1876. Her father stated on the register that he was a french polisher and that the family were living at 109 Ebury Buildings at that time. Both Elizabeth's birth and baptism dates were recorded on the register.^[2]
