Biography

William Rice was born in 1763 to Freelove Lippitt and Olney Rice.^[1] He was raised by his mother, Freelove Lippitt and uncle, Thomas Rice after the death of his father. He married Tabitha Budlong in 1785.^[2] The couple moved to Pittstown, Rensselaer, New York about 1787 and lived there^[3] until his death in 1825. William is buried in Tomhannock Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Pittstown, Rensselaer, New York USA.^[4]
