Donald Silva was a Massachusettsan.

Donald Leonard Silva was born on January 4, 1932, ^[1] in Gloucester, ^[2] Massachusetts. His parents were Manuel B. Silva and Charlotte G. Lafond Silva. Charlotte was born in the state of Michigan, in 1909.^[3]

On Christmas Eve day, December 24, 1951, at the age of twenty-two (note that the marriage record means Donald's date of birth to be in 1929), Donald married nineteen year old Cherie Emma Hibbard, of Stockton, California, ^[4] in the small Columbia River town of Stevenson in Skamania County, Washington. ^[5][6]

As an Airman First Class, Donald served his country in Korea, during the Korean War. ^[7]

Donald was living in Gloucester, Massachusetts, on July 1, 1998.^[2]

Donald L. Silva (age 63) died in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 18, 1995. ^[1][8]He is buried at the Beechbrook Cemetery in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.^[8]
