Transcription 1 of 2:
that she is the widow of the identified Andrew Clark who performed the military service mentioned in said declaration and has remained a widow since his death. That their knowledge of the identity of her husband with the soldier is derived from a personal acquaintance of two years prior to his entering the army And they further testify that they reside as above states and are disinterested in this claim, and that the said Andrew Clark was a free born colored man.
