Fred Prisley
Paul was a civil engineer and a Texas A&M graduate who served in World War II with the SeaBees -- the Navy's corps of civil engineers.


He achieved the rank of Commander and served on Tinian, Guam, and Okinawa, primarily in the construction of airstrips, roads and railroads.

Paul stayed in the Navy after the war and served in China, Washington, Central America, and the Caribbean. After completing his Navy service, he worked in Hawaii and Japan before retiring to Maui. He and his wife Martha are buried in the military cemetery on Maui.
