It may be noted that the address Adrian Massachusetts may be intended for Adrian Michigan.

Adrian Massachusetts [researcher note: Massachusetts given an error; should be Michigan] Private D [researcher note: Company D of the 54th, regiment is erroneously left out] and B 55 Massachusetts Infantry. Discharged August 29 1865 at Boston Massachusetts Close of the War, Disabilities Lapoma of right axilla, heart's action irregular, Defective TBD, somewhat crippled with rheumatism.
His Domestic history is given as follows: Born in Canada Age 63 height 5ft 7 Colored eyes black hair black does not read or write Protestant Blacksmith. Residence subsequent to discharge East St. Louis Illinois Married Mrs. Mary Jackson Dayton Ohio.
He was pensioned at $12 per month under certificate No. 922,015.
This statement has been read over to me and it gives a correct record
DEPOSITION B
Case of James H. Jackson, No. 922015
On this 25 day of April, 1906, at National Military Home, county of Montgomery State of Ohio, before me, W. T. Cathcart, a Special Examiner of the Bureau of Pensions, personally appeared Andrew T. Fife, who, being by me first duly sworn to answer truly all interrogatories propounded to him during this special examination of aforesaid claim for pension, deposes and says:
My age is 44 years, my post office is as above care of Headquarters where I am Adjutant
The books of the Home in my charge show that James H. Jackson was admitted to Central Branch May 19, 1903 and was discharged December 17, 1903.
His Military History is given as follows: Enlisted April 8, 1863 at
